“Transience” emerged from my fascination with the temporary, the fleeting—moments you can’t hold on to, but which linger in feeling or memory. While painting, I let color, movement, and texture guide me, without a fixed plan. What emerged feels to me like a visual translation of flowing water or a changing sky: always in motion, never quite the same.
The deep blues and dark textures represent layering—of nature, but also of emotion. The white splashes and sparse lines symbolize fragility, but also lightness. The work is an invitation to pause and reflect on everything that presents itself and then disappears.
