Laura Lang

Laura is al sinds haar 14 jaar bezig met kunst onder de begeleiding en aanmoediging van René Chacón. Sindsdien heeft ze zich verder ontplooid als kunstenaar. Ze nam deel aan en organiseerde talrijke lokale tentoonstellingen in Duitsland.

Haar schilderijen weerspiegelen  op een eenvoudige doch expressieve manier de schoonheid en de verborgen complexiteit van doodgewone situaties. Met sterke penseelstreken die overgaan in abstracte vormen, biedt zij de toeschouwer via haar kunstwerk een nieuwe blik op dergelijke situatie.

Naast haar artistieke activiteit werkt Laura als ontwerpen in Antwerpen waar ze innovatieve digitale interfaces en producten bedenkt en creëert.

Laura began practicing fine art at the age of 14 under the direction and encouragement of René Chacón. She has since had the opportunity to expand her work as an artist, as well as participate in and organize local exhibitions in Germany. 

Her paintings depict the beauty and hidden intricacies and twists of ordinary situations and motives in a simple yet expressive manner. Strong brushstrokes fade into an abstract, painterly sketch, giving the appearance of a freshly made artwork to the observer. 

In addition to her artistic activity, Laura is working as a designer in Antwerp, concepting, creating and directing innovative digital interfaces and physical products.
